Listening to the stories from buyers and agents alike it has become obvious that the real estate industry in Bulgaria has turned into a dog-eat-dog business for both agents and purchasers.

“Quest for Real Estate Ethics in Bulgaria - honesty, integrity and transparency”

A free for all attitude in the real estate market has been destroying buyers and investors confidence in Bulgaria. Developing a code of conduct to clamp down on some of the opportunities to "swindle" will ensure that only professional, ethical businesses exist.

This is a quest, a campaign, to get the government to sit up and take notice, to establish an Association (NGO) which will monitor the real estate industry. From this campaign we are looking to have a code of conduct established for the industry whereby agents will be fully monitored by the Association (NGO).

Through a code of practice, will come more confidence and more sales, protecting the investment of those who have already bought in Bulgaria and the monies of those yet to invest. No more property nightmares!

In the current market, real estate agents need to show professional competence as customers are increasingly attracted to use those agents that they feel come closest to meeting their need for financial and professional security.
